Bench Check

Welcome, and thank you for helping!

You will walk to each bench on the map and tell us what you find. It takes about one minute per bench.

1. Press “Where am I?” The blue dot shows where you are standing.
2. Press “Next bench”. The app picks the closest bench nobody has checked yet.
3. Press “Walk there” if you want Google Maps to guide you on foot.
4. At the bench, choose what you found: Found it, Not there, Can't get to it, or Not sure. Add a note if you like.
5. Press “Save and go to next bench”. Your answer is saved for the whole team straight away.

Good to know

• A bus stop pin means a bus stop or shelter that has seating. The bench may be a few steps away from the pin.
• If there is no internet, your answers stay on your phone and are sent automatically later.
• You can change an answer any time: tap the pin again and save a new answer.
• Do not worry about mistakes. Every answer is kept, so nothing can be lost.
• Please stay safe: watch for traffic and do not enter private property.
